12:54 pm Unknown

Engagements are the one event where you can probably let your hair loose and free and for some of the best ideas and inspirations you need not look far away, rather you can get the ideas from our very own Bollywood. Our celebrities may always be changing their hairstyles and trying new looks every now and then which gives plenty of styles and looks to choose from. During these days the overall styling is not only getting imaginative but also taking huge inspirations from the hairstyles people used to follow in the past .The pulled back or back combed wedding hairstyles go very well with any formal function and look rather classy for casual evenings as well. The Back combed kind of wedding hairstyles help in framing the face perfectly and also adds to the liveliness in your personality. Regardless of any kind of outfit that one wears, the back combed hairstyle is universal and suits any type of outfit :

1. South Indian style
The distinctive South Indian style includes a silk saree with wide golden borders mostly a Kancheevaram saree along with a long ponytail which is festooned with gold embellishments and flowers all through the length of the hair.  You can accentuate the look by adding a wreath of flowers at the crown.

2. Punjabi style:
This is a very popular type of a North Indian wedding, and the hairstyles used in it are primarily focus on the mang-tikka. The bride is free to choose a good-looking ornament according her preference e and taste and use it for wearing it on the crown. The bride can also try a braid or an intricate woven bun to keep your hair in place.

 3. Bengali style
A Bengali wedding is a beautiful event; something to really look forward to. A Bengali bride is usually decorated in a typical manner which consists of a large red bindi on her forehead and heavy amount decorated on her eyes. You do not need to do much for a Bengali hair style, as the overall point is to keep it simple. You can give your curls to perfectly attain the typical Bengali look.

4. Fusion style:
This style as the name suggests is the combination or fusion of two different styles; one being the contemporary and the other being the traditional one. You are advised to go for a braided bun on one side of your head. It is advised that you wear a traditional ornament on your head and pair it with a good pair of earrings to create a style that not only looks good but also help increase your overall appearance by some notches. It is advised that you pair this look with an ethnic saree or a lehnga according to your choice.

5. Maharashtrian style:
A classic Maharashtrian wedding hair style comprises of a full bun in the hair embedded with a golden hair pin which is usually inserted in the tuft of hair. There is a small garland as well made up of mogra flowers which is called a ‘Gajra and is tied around the bun of the hair. The hair style is usually escorted with a nathni or nose ring and a navari saree and is apt to set the mood to a purely traditional one.

Top Bridal Jewelry Trends Of 2016

3:24 pm Unknown
Extra chunky necklaces
Chunky, extra-large, over-sized, they don't begin to describe the super huge statement pieces. Some are multi-strands while others are a single, super large piece.

The modern traditional

When you want some traditional gold, this is the king of jewelry that you should opt for.
On the day of your marriage, you’re expected to gather all your attention to look perfectly beautiful. Not just because of the guests, or the relatives or the friends but because this is a special day that you will never get again in your life. It will be engraved in your memory for generations to come, therefore that thought alone should encourage you to look your best.
First and foremost, your goal is to look fierce and flawless like these one:

The choices that you have in jewelry are just endless and the best it could do is finding something that will hopefully surprise you for good.

•        Do not upstage your dress. This is the first and most important rule of bridal jewelry (you will not find these rules as I have invented them). The bridal jewelry you do choose is meant to complement your dress, and not outshine it. This also means that you probably shouldn’t buy your jewelry before your dress. In light of this golden rule, your choices should be tremendously narrowed.

•        Here are some tips on how to accessorize some of the bridal trends emerging from Bridal Fashion Week Spring 2016.
•        Bridal Fashion Week has finished up for Spring 2016 and we saw some amazing gowns emerge. There were some popular themes and trends seen cascading down the runway and we were in awe of these creations.
•        While the gown takes center stage, finding the right jewelry to accessorize it is key. See what pieces we've chosen for this seasons looks.
•         Skip a necklace all together and go for earrings with an intricate design. The earrings will not interfere with the neckline of the gown since they are not drop earrings.
•        Add some texture to the look with a geometric shaped bracelet. Choose a bracelet that has a little personality with sharp lines and sparkling crystals.

We love bridal gowns with a deep "V" neckline because it allows for some really fun necklaces.  Try a "V" shaped necklace to mirror the lines of your gown. If you go for one with pearl and crystal details, the combination allows for a great earring and bracelet because there isn't sparkle all over. Look for pieces with similar silhouettes and crystal shapes to the pieces complement each other creating a cohesive look.
